Hi,
I just read an article by a dermatologist. I like to use a physical sunblock and know that Zinc Oxide is far superior to Titanium Dioxide.
She basically said, that if you put on the physical sunscreen. Even if you wait a bit, when you put on foundation, you wipe some of the sunblock off. She said the best way would be to add foundation to the sunblock before you put it on. I tried with a product called burnout with an spf 30 and 18% zinc oxide, and worked great.
What I want to know....is, how much foundation can I add, to not dilute the strength of the sunscreen. Does anyone know, or tried this?

| Does the foundation contain any titanium dioxide or zinc oxide? If so, then I would do about 50/50. If not, that's your call. You'll be diluting the sunscreen either way...but some sun protection is better than no sun protection. |

^Yes, that thought crossed my mind too! But I assumed if they were interested in diy, they would have asked about percentages or whatnot.
Well op, would you be interested in a diy version of this? Sometimes it's a little difficult to get your exact skintone matched, but you have to just take really good notes and experiment. It's totally an option if you're interested. I would suggest Coastal Scents because they're so cheap and they usually ship fast. It would have the advantage of diluting the sunscreen as little as possible.
