Hello,
I have been reading great things about Decleor Visage Ylang Ylang for clearing the pores and evening out the skin tone.
The info on this products says that its for oily skin though. Would it work for dry skin?
I am still looking for products to improve my skin tone and banish ocassional breakouts and clogged pores.
I am still in search for a cleanser and a day and night mositurizer. I am investigating Delcleor line at the moment
Do their creams clog the pores?
Thankies!

Hi Aga, the Ylang Ylang is for combination/oily skins and it helps to control oil production. It is not for dry skins. If you look on decleor.com, they have a tool that allows you to search for products aimed at specific skin types.
I was going to suggest having a Decleor facial, but after your recent nightmare facial you probably wouldn't want to But if you do get a Decleor facial, the beautician will be able to analyse your skin and recommend specific products plus you will feel pampered and glowing too. |

I had mine done in Warsaw. Honestly it was worth every single penny. It's something I'm definitely gonna keep up.
Which brand was used in your facial? |

So decleor line for dry skin produces results comparable to Visage Ylang Ylang?
I am at sucha loss, nothing seems to be helping make my skin feel and look better..

Aga, I seem to remember you've just brought a whole load of new products. I think you should introduce each slowly and give it a chance to work before looking to get yet more stuff. You never know, something in your new stash may just do the trick! |

Hello girls!
I dont know what products they used for my facial
I did buy a few things, but I havevt really used them yet other than the Vit C
I got the JB MILK+Toner but I am not using it cos its too drying for my skin.
And I ordered some eye creams which havent shipped yet.
Trying to take it slow and waiting for my face to get back to normal

I was comparing the two, and the Ylang Ylang seems to work in a different way than the one for dry skin.
Would I dry my skin more if I used the YY? Its so tempting!

you're welcome aga. It's quite a bit different than what you were looking at, but I think you may get better results from it. EDS has sent me a few samples of it and I quite like it. Should order some myself soon |

Aga, don't forget that the essential balm should only be used for two weeks at a time. Sorry if you already knew that |

Rzecka, I didnt know that!
How come? How long before resuming using it again?

That is what the woman at the Decleor counter said when I asked about it. She said not to use it for longer than 2 weeks at any time. You can use it each month for 2 weeks. It is deeply cleansing and is targeted at clearing up congested skin so shouldn't be used for long periods in one go.

Thanks Rzecka
Last Q, The EB should be used at night, so what do I do about moisturizing at night? I am so dry! Can I use other products before or over the EB?

I'm not an expert on this, but my understanding is that you are not meant to use anything over the EB.
As for your dryness, is your skin normally dry or is perhaps one of the products you are already using too harsh and is drying out your skin? I remember reading that you have combination skin? I think that sometimes products aimed at combination skin tend to dry out the skin. |

I have dry skin, for sure
For now my routine is very simple:
Milk+Toner
Vit C
+ Moisturizer
If I was not to use anything my skin would get scales!
I dont think I could go on without moisturinzg at night...

I don't have dry skin so can't give you any specific advice but I was just thinking maybe you could use an Aromessence under the Baume Essentiel.
Aromessence Angelique is supposed to be very good for dry skin and so perhaps you could use this at night before you put on the Baume Essentiel. Does anybody know if this would work? I know that the instructions for Aromessences says to use them morning and night (although I only use mine in the morning) and so I was wondering if perhaps the combination of the Angelique and the Baume Essentiel would solve Aga's dilemma. |

Toe,
That kind of solution would be great
I would only hope that this combination could work for me.

That should work. I've used Neroli and Angelique under Essential Balm and I was happy with the results. I've been forgetting about good old Essential Balm recently! I'm going to use some tonight |

becks, so eve though Ylang Ylang is for oily skin , it doesnt dry your skin?
IF thats the case , I would be so tempted to get YY
So basically its ok to use like a firming night cream and then use Essebtial Balm or YY?
