Hello:
Haven't been here for a while. After 3 terrible first months of my second pregnancy I have restarted taking care of my skin.
So I have a glycolic acid serum, a vit C serum and a HA serum and I'm not sure in which order I should apply them or if I should alternate them.
Any feedback for a born again newbie?
Thanks. |

My first inclination is to tell you to alternate the C & glycolic serum, and throw the HA on top of either of them as you see fit. I imagine C & glycolic would be too irritating to use together, but it depends on your skin type and their phs. |

The directions on my Vit C serum say it should be the first thing applied to the skin, but I would use the C in the morning, the glycolic at night and the hyaluronic on top of everything. |

I have been a long time user of Vitamin C serums, HA acid, as well as all other such products. I would NOT use the Vit C with the glycolic acid, personally I would use the Vit C serum in the A.M with the HA serum over top, and I would use the glycolic acid in the P.M with HA on top!
This is the best way to use these products, as glycolic acid can produce sensitivity and be a bit harsher on the skin, if you use it in the daytime I personally find my skin really dry at the end of the day, verses Vitamin C in the day! |

Hi Aural,
I love the products from Phyto-C (Phytoceuticals), as compared to numerous other such/similar companies. One of my favourite HA serums is their Icy Blue, if you want super hydration and to get a glowing very hydrated look. I find this particular one best in the winter when the skin is more dry, or if you live in a hot climate and its dry. Their regular HA with B5 is much lighter and more like a normal HA serum, good for summertime when you want a lighter product! I have been using Phyto-C purchased from EDS for as long as they have been a company, as the former line was called IS Clinical!! |

I use Timeless HA Spray with Matryxil 3000 and cucumber extract. I spray it on after everything else or before my workouts. Then when I sweat a lot my face doesn't end up like a dried up prune.
I like that it's a spray so after I spray it, I can just pat it into my face and I am not rubbing my sunscreen off. It also makes my mineral makeup look really good. |
