Seen many different serums/creams with green tea, but I don't really like their ingredients. Found one from Karen's Botanicals from caren online, but their shipping is soooo expensive. I don't think I will ever pay $19 to ship a small bottle of serum to Canada...
So I decided to use up whatever i have in the kitchen first. At first I was planning spraying a few layers of cold green tea before my at home LED tremeant, but I found some unused matcha powder in my fridge!
Here is what I found online:

Matcha Green Tea Powder is full of antioxidants. Why not directly apply all this good stuff directly to your face, right? This DIY facial mask treatment is as easy to put together as ABC-123. Only two ingredients are needed, Matcha Green Tea and Water. I like to use a mineral facial spray like Evian instead of water because I use it regularly and it helps in keeping my skin moisturized. Also, a mixing dish (Japanese soy sauce dish!) and a mini spatula are used to create the mask.
Try to use a Pure Matcha powder, such as one with Green Tea as the only ingredient. We do not want any preservatives or cream. Many matcha powders contain creamer and preservatives.
Step 1: Pour a small amount into the mixing dish to begin with.
Step 2: Start to spray water or pour in small drops of water if you are using regular tap water. Do not add too much water because you want the mask to be thick and pasty.
Step 3: Start mixing the powder and water together with your mini spatula. Break up any chunks of powder and make sure the powder is fully coated with water.
Step 4: Slowly add more powder to create a larger amount, enough for your own face. Estimate! Also, add water if needed. However, do not add too much water. Once again, want to achieve a thick paste-like consistency.
Step 5: Mix mix mix!!!
Step 6: Quickly, with your clean fingertips, apply an even layer to your skin. Leave on for 10 minutes. The mask dries quickly and will give your skin a slight cooling effect. It actually dries faster than a mud mask. To prevent the mask from drying too quickly, use a mineral facial spray to lightly spray your face to keep the mask moist.
Final step: Rinse off the mask with lukewarm water, and then rinse with cold water to close your pores. Make sure to rinse thoroughly as it might leave your skin slightly greenish! You wouldn’t want to look like the Hulk, right? Follow with regular skincare.
The results are refreshed, clean, and moisturized skin!
Note: Please spot test your skin first to test for allergies to this mask recipe. If ever in doubt, seek help from your derm.

I got my matcha powder from wholefoods market, it is an organic matcha powder.
I changed to use my favorite Rose hydrolat instead of mineral water and my face feels so refreshed and bright after the first try!
