I've already taken care of most of my vices over the past year, except I have to quit smoking again (which is to say, go back to using my e-cigarette). I had quit for a long time but started back during the holidays when I lost my case of batteries and cartridges and was under major stress (weren't we all?)
Anyway, that leaves two things I want to take care of this year - I want to improve my muscle tone and build a better bottom (I am a stick, I have no butt, it's pathetic, my pants fall down), and I want to do something about the lines on my upper lip.
I'm going to start doing TCA spot peels there, 20% every 5 weeks, then if I don't see noticeable improvement after 3 treatments, I will bite the bullet and order a dermaroller.
It's not that the lines have gotten worse - indeed, with my regime of CPs and hydroxy acids, and facial exercise, they've improved, it's that the rest of my face has improved so much, naso-labials especially and cheeks, that it really highlights those lines for me.
So! I have to drag out my old Callanetics program. I've got my mat and a folding stool that works well for a barre. I think I've still got enough TCA in the bottle for 3 peels, but I'm thinking I'll order a fresh bottle since this bottle is a year or so old, and I don't know if it evaporates and gets stronger or not. It was plenty strong when it was fresh! And TCA is so cheap, why risk a bad burn there?
What are you resolutions, ladies and gentlemen? Do tell! |

I have joined a gym. I really need to go on a regular basis. This is the hardest for me. I do feel much better when I exercise.
As far as skin care, hair care, makeup, (cosmetics in general)...I am on a low buy. I want to be more selective in what I am buying and also use what I buy. This is also difficult. |

I'm the same way, I have to really watch the money, so can only afford a few things, and I want those things to really work! So far, that's been AHA, TCA and copper peptides. I will only add the dermaroller if I don't see improvement in a few months.
I wish there were a gym near me, but to tell you the truth, if past history is any gauge, I would go religiously for a month then start slacking off. Callentics have always worked really well for me, so I'll stay with the devil I know. Cheaper that way! |
