Some people have good results with applying HA serum to damp skin followed by applying a facial oil of your choice - rosehip, borage, or argan are good for dry skin. |

Yes I agree,
I love argan oil mixed with a drop of HA serum on damp skin. It's helped quite a bit. |

Forgot to mention if your skin is quite dehydrated apart from topical serums I also switched to milk or cream gentle cleansers (natral with no parabens, sulphates etc). Nothing with drying or foamining ingredients. That made a BIG difference to my skin. I use Moogoo milk cleanser.
Also if you eat well and drink lots of water, then thats great, obviously things like Omega supplements help but also HA supplements (low molecular weight) may also help to maintain hydration and keep your skin plump. If you do a search on it things will come up.
I'm not sure how long you have been trying to get your skincare working for you, but you need to give it time. It's taken me over a year of trying out things plus experiencing the usual dryness etc you get from topical acids and the like to finally have my skin feeling and looking more hydrated.
At first serums and moisturisers didn't seem "enough" for me, and I felt, sometimes, the more I tried to hydrate it the more it felt dehydrated. But slowly I have gotten back to where I want it to be. The key for me was my milk cleanser, alternating topical acids on my skin (eg not everything in one day and overdoing it),antiox serum , oils on damp skin and or with drop of HA serum (I feel HA serum is more about locking water in rather than "moisturising"), diet, supplements and gadgets and regular 6-8 weekly peels or microdermabrasion. So Slowly I got there.
Basically I don't use moisturisers as I do find them very pore clogging. Argan oil also seems to be the only oil I can tolerate. It really depends on your skin type. There are lots of good oils for really dry skin too. So I hope that helps you a bit |

so wil u recommend the weleda almond cleanser? do u think ok for dehydrated skin? because abit drying.
what about the yes to cucumber cleanser? base on ingredients is it ok?
i checked at beautypedia, the cucumber wash rated best by paula begoun and she normally does not give high ratings to products other than her own. |

Try the cucumber one if it rates better. They both have alcohol and both look nice. I just like weleda so could be a bit biased. I also prefer shorter ingredient lists. But cucmber one looks good too. |
