These poor celebrities - they just can't win!!! Let's see, actress shows up looking fabulous in every possible way and gets critisized for appearance . . . guess it goes with the territory, but to my eyes she is enviously lovely. |

Go to any museum and there will be people admiring paintings and sculpture.
And they're all probably thinking about the sight very differently...
There are differences between brain activity in different people's cognitive tasks;
differences that appear
in the case of appreciation of beauty...

I have seen her in person and she looks amazing, very fresh skin. I thought she also looked very good at the Oscars. Her behavior however, was very bizarre as she could not seem to keep her eyes open. Don't know what that was about!
Living here in Austin, I have been lucky enough to see quite a few actors/actresses in person. Plus a few in Vegas! Usually, they look better in person and up close, amazing! |

She looks very thin which 'could' be why her face has thinned out but certainly would not explain the without a flaw skin or frozen eyes.. |

Just found these photos and my first reaction was brow lift, lower eye bags (make her eyes less squinty) and something like ultherapy or radio frequency to sculpt her cheeks by removing extra fat. I think it's good work. Not extreme.

By the way, cheek implants are seldom done these days. They had a habit of becoming dislodged. What is done instead is the repositioning of muscle during a facelift. Sometimes filler. In Renee's case, I'm guessing the elimination of fat below the cheekbones makes them look more prominent. |

She looks good to me.
She's always been quirky beautiful.
The smooth skin and even skin tone would be due to peels, retinoids, hydroquinone, ipl and botox.
She's always had full cheeks and lips so I doubt she's had fillers. |

Probably all of those - but I think it's mainly laser treatments - invasive ones. I once read an article in a magazine about a woman who had all her skin removed by a laser. At the time, it was a very controversial treatment and she went overseas to get it done (England, I think). For weeks after the treatment she was swathed in bandages (like the Invisible Man) and could only drink from a straw. When the bandages were removed she looked like a full on burns victim - very frightening. However, when she was fully recovered she looked 20 years younger. She was only around 40 but her face was very lined and she looked like an old woman. After the procedure she looked around 20, 25 - which was actually quite odd. Heaven knows how your family and friends would react to that. But anyway, the difference was completely staggering.
I'm sure all these celebs get something similar done. They have to be doing something more than just the normal treatments we're all familiar with. |

Hmmm - sounds waaaaaaaaay extreme - like a phenol peel. But to look 25 again....nah. I couldn't afford it anyway. I'll get a dermaroller, once I get up my nerve! |

I feel a little bad for her that she felt the need to resort to such extreme measures. I always thought she was such a bizarre looking person, but gorgeous, and loved that she rocked it. I did see pictures more recently where age was certainly catching up with her, so I guess that prompted the procedures. SO MUCH PRESSURE!
She looks great, but she seems to have lost the unique features which made her gorgeous. Maybe I haven't seen enough pictures, but she doesn't look as striking anymore & her eyes don't seem to light up the way they did.
I didn't see her dozing, but holy, if I ever underwent anything like that I know I'd have to be medicated up the wazoo to be able to handle it! Poor girl, hope she's well & happy. |

Wow - just checked out this thread and the pictures and she looks fantastic - better than I've ever seen her probably - at least since the '90s anyway. |
