I've been absolutely desperate to buy the Decleor Ylang Ylang oil and Hydra-Matt Regulating Fluid for a few weeks now ever since I read glowing reviews about them and ever since I had my Decleor facial. I AM about to take the plunge, but just have one more question. I know that the products aim to regulate oil production and balance combination skin but I'm just a little concerned that they may regulate just a liiitle too much. Has anyone found the combination of these two products too drying at all? My skin tends to dry out if I use products for combination skin so am a little paranoid on this front. I'd appreciate any thoughts/advice/reassurance from you guys |

I used these in my early 20's when I was prone to breakouts and oiliness, but like you had the sort of skin that got to dry with the usual recommended skincare for my skin type. I found them to be excellent - they seem to balance rather than try to 'dry out' the oil. I found I needed an eye cream as well though and a touch of extra moisture on my cheeks in the winter but then I'm either outside or in an air-conditioned office! (These days - early 30's- my skin is more normal but I still get a bit dehydrated or the odd breakout). |

Thanks Lucia - that's exactly what I wanted to hear . I'm in an air-con office all day long so might need a little something extra - at night maybe? |

I only used the matt cream in the day, I usd the Hydra Floral at night if I felt a bit dry. Hope that helps.
PS - The peel off mask (will try to remember the name)is lovely too! |

the combo of the 2 didn't dry me out at all. But in the winter when it's cold I didn't find the hydra matte moisturizing enough because I totally dry out in the cold weather |

I use the ylang ylang balm with my combo skin and I have never had any problems with dryness. |

rzecka sounds like you've got similar skin to me and I've used the Ylang Ylang with no problems. The Hydra Flora moisturiser is lovely too and if you find your skin is getting a little dry, put a thick layer on and the dry bits will absorb it really quickly. |

Hi Lucia, I used the lip and eye mask too, have just ordered the Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Mask to use as a eye mask, the sample was really nice and refreshing. |
