I do my own chem peels at home, alternating between glycolic acid, TCA and Jessner's.
This past Saturday, for the first time, in addition to my face, I also applied the peel solutions to the tops of my hands.
My face has already peeled now, but my hands are still crepey and shiney  .
I have an event to attend this weekend. My face looks 45 yrs old and my hands look 75 years old, LOL.
Any suggestions for accelerating the peeling on my hands? I don't think adding more acid will help as these upper skin layers on my hands are already "dead"?

I suggest wearing gloves to the event.
Washing with warm water and soap/cleanser will help, and rubbing in mild oils or lotions will help the peeling along a little, using a gentle massaging motion as you rub in the cream, but I wouldn't do more than that.
I need to do a hand peel before summer gets here... |
