My niece is getting married in May in a formal Catholic wedding. If I don't burst into flames when I walk through the church doors, this is what I'll be wearing:
Lindy Bop "Laney" Pencil Dress
What do you think? I'll have an updo, probably a braided chignon. I have double strap mary jane heels that I think will go with the dress, I'll have to wait and see how it looks. |

I intend to have FUN! I'm not a big drinker, but there'll be plenty of yummies. My side of the family are vegan so I am sure I'll have lots of choices.
The church ceremony itself...let's just say I'll be sitting near a door. Catholic weddings are loooooooooong!

We have a wedding to go to also in May but only going to the reception part since it's in NYC and we'll need to get a babysitter, etc. |

| Oooh, I love the Smoke and Ivory dress from Pyramid. That would look so wonderful on me. One of the few advantages of being a stick is that I look great in clothes! But for that dress I will probably need a wonder bra! LOL |

My dress came Saturday! It's really cute, just like the pic. I like the length too - I'm 5'9 and it's not too short, not too long, just about mid knee.
The fit was perfect - very close, like a pencil dress should be, but not tight. I was starting to worry that I should have ordered a small because I thought the bust would gap on me, but it doesn't, it fits well. I may have the waist taken in just a tiny bit but it doesn't really need it.
I'm really liking the fabric too - bengaline I think it's called. It's stretchy but sturdy, so it doesn't reveal but rather conceals figure flaws - not that I'm admitting to any figure flaws! LOL
I will definitely order more clothes from Lindy Bop. I am well pleased with the quality and the shipping was much faster than the estimated time said. |

| LOL - it's a big deal to me! I lived on the East Coast mostly, and there were plenty of dress up occasions. I'm in Oregon now, and nobody, I mean NOBODY dresses up. I'm starved for a little foofiness! |
