I'm looking for a natural looking product to even out the tone and appearance of my legs (lower legs in particular.) I am going to a wedding in Fla in March, and since no one is wearing hosiery these days, of course I'll be going bare legged. ICK! Confused Any suggestions? (I've already tried Joan Rivers product..the name eludes me...not good though...color was off.)

Have you tried self tanner? Over time it can build up to look very nice.

If you need to camouflage or conceal spots; I would use a good concealer on just those spots.

What exactly is going on in your lower legs that you need to conceal? Is it just some spots or is large areas?
I say you have some time before the wedding so between now and then work on getting your skin as healthy and vibrant as possible. Dry brushing, massage with nourishing oils, exfoliation exercise and all that good stuff.
You have some time to experiment with self tanners and get it just right before then.
Have you also tried the Dermablend cover creme? I only use it on occasion on a couple of spider veins on my legs. They are lumped together and make me look as I have bruises on my legs. It builds up OK to a decent coverage. I have not tried it on a large area so I have no idea how it would work for covering up an entire leg.

I actually like the Victoria's secret leg shimmer.. if you don't feel like you need full coverage. This is enough to blur any imperfections- but unfortunately you can still see the could spider veins in the back.

I've used self-tanner before, it does wonders! It'll help make your legs look toned. Just make sure to dab away any runs or you'll get orange streaks.

Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs is a spray-on body makeup that gives an airbrushed effect, like foundation for legs, which is good for evening out tone. I wouldn't say it's as natural looking as self-tanner, but it is pretty, easy to apply and stays on (although I don't know if it might rub on car upholstery). I've worn it with a white skirt without problem. It's available in the U.S. at drugstores, Target, etc.

I could not get the Sally Hansen stuff to stay put, I would have nasty looking white blotches here and there everytime I touched something.

I have well-worn legs! I'm clumsy, scar very easily and heal very slowly. Usually any little scratch I get on my legs, leaves a mark for 6 months. I'm an avid hiker, and getting scratched up is par for the course. I also have thin skin with veins showing...(hey, I'm 60!) My legs are thin, muscular and beat up Rolling Eyes . I need something to smooth out the coloration and hide the flaws. I do have Coverblend, but putting it over my entire leg may be a bit much. I was hoping for a nice, waterproof leg foundation. I'll keep dreaming!

Makeup Forver has this Body Tan product, it's a body bronzer, comes in 2 shades and sticks to skin nicely (meaning, very tiny chance of ruining clothes).
MAC has a similar product called Legsheen, never tried it in person, but in photos it looks a bit more "made up" compared to Body Tan.
They both come in 2 shades and cost about the same, depending on where you get them, but $30 is the usual price, MAC comes in 75 ml or 100 ml bottle (not sure which size) while Makeup Forver is 200 ml bottle.
Another alternative would be body makeup, of course, but I would think that unless it's some full-coverage product like Vichy's Dermablend Tattoo Cover the leg bronzer might look less obvious and more neutral/natural.

Ha!Ha! I just read your signature. So funny! I love it!!!
I am hiker too and I also trrain in the Martial Arts. I am scratched, bruised and beat up most of the time.

I still say, give the dry brushing a try and massage your legs with oils. I actually use a shoe brush for dry brushing. The thing is made of 100% horse hair and it was only $3. Unless you have a strong objection to using products made of animals, I think it makes a really good dry brush. Give your legs a good dry brushing session before your shower and massage in some oils after your shower. Nothing exotic - oils made from sunflower seed, sesame, safflower are really good for the skin. Add a glop of vitamin E oil into the mix and massage your legs really, really good. I think the skin on your legs will improve a lot of you do that.
You have strong muscular legs and that's something to be very proud of.
Have you tried any type of highlighting powders or foundation? Something to give your legs a little bit of sheen. It might blur some imperfections.
Good luck!

I go to Tan It All and have a Versa Spray. Better than most tanning booth sprays! It stays put and wears off gradually, not splotchy.
