Hello, I made another topic a few days ago about skin healing and dead skin. Basically I've stopped washing my face and allowed dead skin to build up these last 2 and a half months, and it's worked brilliantly since all my acne is gone and my skin already seems way more hydrated and healthy.
However, when I removed the dead skin from my inner cheek I found that I have 2 small but noticeable holes. It looks like too much dead skin got plugge up in those spots. I'm pretty worried about these. I thought they were closing up but today I realized they actually just got reclogged, so I removed the new dead skin from them.
Will these close? It's driving my crazy cause my face is almost clear after 3 years of struggling with skin problems. All I have left now are a few marks with are fading rapidly, but I really don't want to be stuck with these holes now |

I am thinking they are enlarged pores too. There are ways to keep them clean and make them appear smaller, but with you current preferred regimen of not doing anything to your face, they will probably stay enlarged and will probably be filling up with more dead skin and oil. Once you are satisfied that you cheeks have healed well you can start to gently address the issue of the enlarged pores with gentle cleansers, salicylic acid, or go back to retin a at a lower concentration and take it much mores lowly. |

i'd say enlarged pores, but if they look bigger they may be infected blemishes. I'd get them looked at by a derm if they continue to grow. |
