Two years ago I had amazing skin. Firm. Full. And very few lines. I worked hard at staying out of the sun, eating right. All that.
Then it went from bad to worse. I had Radiesse injected into my cheeks. Felt like two hard rocks. Then Juvaderm under my eyes. Balloons for months. Five Hylauranadaise injections and 3 pixel lasers.
I still get phantom swelling from the Juvaderm a year later. My skin is loose, my cheeks are gone. My facial fat is gone. Even my nose looks different. And I have two dents beside my nose where my cheeks used to be. Will send a photo if that will help. I look 20 years older.
Have been trying the Ageless if you Dare program. Will my skin ever come back. Or is it just gone for good.
Thanks to anyone for advise. So sad. |

Aww (((LeahB )) I know what it's like when things go wrong after a long spell of all being well.
Did you get ill or take meds before all went south? I don't know how old you are and whether hormones may have played a role in the sudden change that caused you to look into those procedures that seem not to have brought you joy. I am posting to let you know that I do believe that where there is a will, there is a way and while you may not yet see any improvements, it does not mean you won't eventually get there if you don't give up trying to find it. But be cautious, ask questions. Find others who have walked in your shoes who may be able to share how they found success.
And now the helpful part of my post: I think you should contact Loulou and Steve (who are trainers of Ageless) and share what you've had done so far and what exactly you're hoping to achieve with Ageless and confirm that what you are doing in that program is all you need to be doing to fix this. Why I suggest this is they KNOW the program and know what it can or cannot do. Plus I suspect they might have encountered a case like yours before so may know exactly what you need to do. Don't go it alone. Take advantage of the pros at your disposal.
Stay positive. Make sure your diet is as wholesome and healthy (void of crap like additives like MSG, added sugar, etc). The article at the following link has advice on an anti-inflammatory diet which will help:

Think of this not just as a one area problem but look at it as providing the best for your entire body and you may find all things fall into place and that your face starts to respond as you hoped.
My best,
Nonie |

Thank you for your words Nonie.
I never really wanted anything. I am 53 but went through menopause at 48. No symptoms. No changes other than the lose of the monthly.
The Radiesse happened because I was starting to get some jowling. At 51. I didn't know anything about fillers at the time. I went for a second consult because it felt like hard rocks in my cheeks and it changed my smile. Ruined my dimple. That's when the Juvaderm happened. I had swelling the day after, like tea bags under my eyes. That's when the Pixel suggestion was made. Bad to worse.
I think stress is adding to it but my face is gone and everything I have done is just making it worse.
Will look into contacting the experts for sure. It's nice not to feel alone. Thanks again. |

You truly are not alone I'm sure. And it's a relief to hear that you didn't really age abnormally all of a sudden but rather you got jowls which happen to anyone who has not done exercises to prevent them and it seems that you got more problems from fillers so I would think that by eliminating these problem causers and improving tone in your face, you may be pleasantly surprised.
For a little more encouragement and why I say you should have a lot of hope, here are some former dermal filler/cosmetic surgery procedure-dependents who switched to face exercises and were happy with the improvements they got by making that change:

I enjoyed reading your posts Nonie aka AD I sympathize with LeahB and I am optimistic that she can find solutions eventually... Sad story, but anything is "possible" if you really want it..... |

That is encouraging. I'll keep trying !! You are awesome Nonie for taking the time. So appreciate it. Fingers crossed.
I have lost so much volume in my face. Maybe the Pixels. I read that fat cells can't really be destroyed. Maybe it will come back. Have to stay positive. |

Speaking of new technology, please look at this link from Dr. Serene Lim (Australia). She is using patient's blood to bring back volume on their faces.... It might interest you.... I find this interesting.....

Hello LeahB I am glad that you find this interesting because I do. It is an alternative treatment than using synthethic fillers because it is using your own blood to put back the lost volume without (I think) the side effects... So hang in there. I am sure you will find a solution to your problem. Be optimistic..... |

Thanks ladies for your help yesterday. In addition to your great advice, I contacted Loulou as Nonie suggested. Sent her photos and she knew straight away what I was doing wrong.
So glad this forum is here. I was totally at the end. The support is invaluable !!!
Here's to great face days. |
