I was wondering if anyone has any tips or suggestions on how I could keep a healthy weight? I'm 95 pounds and 5 feet 5 inches. my weight goes up and down a lot, like...every few weeks. I really hate it! I don't like how thin and flat I am but I don't want to just eat tons and become over weight or just get the belly. What should I do?

Protein- assists in building lean muscle, which I assume is the kind of weight you'd like to gain. I have trouble getting enough protein in daily, its harder than it sounds.

If you eat healthy meals and choose different variety of food groups in moderation and do regular exercises (any sports that you like) you will be able to regulate your weight consistently and build lean muscles long-term. I would not suggest "protein bars" though as you don't know what else in the ingredient list. You can get protein from lean meats such as beef, chicken, fish etc.... Try to eat lots of different colorful vegies (i.e. broccoli, spinach, violet cabbage, etc)... Moderation (in eating) is the key to keeping your ideal weight!

definitely eat more protein, it will help build muscle. you have to continually work out though to build that muscle too, whether it's lifting weights or just being active (biking, playing tennis).

whey protein isolate should help, most taste not so good, it's better to pay a little more and purchase ON products. their isolate Mocha flavor tastes awesome. 95lbs huh? I wish I weighed that. Good Luck! Wink

Protein is also necessary for hair, skin and nail health. It's only hard to get enough if you limit animal foods like dairy.
