If I apply aloe vera gel on my face and then let it dry and then apply loose powder make up?
And why?
Thank You! |

The Aloe Vera should be absorbed. I had some Fruit of the Earth (gel) and it did not leave an oily residue.
If you are looking for moisture; I would suggest something else. Aloe Vera is soothing but does not really moisturize well. |

Aloe vera feels a bit drying to me for my skin which is combination normal cheeks with a slightly oily T zone. If I am applying aloe vera I always put a drop of oil in it and it gives me a whole different wonderful feel to the skin.
Go ahead a try it though. You can wash it off easily if you don't like the effect. Let us know how it goes. |

Actually aloe vera is not really used as a moisturizer but as a soothing healing gel...
Why go to this extent when you can get a good moisturizer that will really serve its purpose "moisturize your skin".... |

I agree I find aloe soothing and cooling but it does not apply moisture. I think the powder will look cakey over the gel .. |
