Hi all!
I have searched and searched .. and searched for a DIY sunscreen lotion with UNCOATED ZINC. NOT coated zinc.
Uncoated zinc is water soluble. Coated is oil soluble. Alright.
1. Any recipes or experiences with DIY recipe using uncoated zinc?
2. It it possible just to mix it with my existing body lotion?
It contains:
Aqua, Ethylhexyl Stearate, Pentylene Glycol, Glyceryl Stearate, Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil, Glycerin, Glyceryl Stearate Citrate, Sodium Gluconate, Xanthan Gum.
pH value : 4,8
I see that Aqua (water) is mentioned first, which indicates that it is the primary ingredient.
Do you think i could just mix it with this? |

Yes you can mix it with an existing lotion. I've worked with this stuff allot. Its very messy; and hard to clean from tools. Allot of people like Cerave lotion. I've used Vaseline Instensive Care which works fine. Here is a link to a recipe.
