Hi, Just wondering any of you know BuyChina? recently one of my friend bought quite a lot of things from Taobao but she is staying with CA. I wanted to buy some cosmetics from Taobao cause its ridiculously cheap=)
Has anyone bought anything from a Taobao agent like buychina? Can you share your experience?
Thanks in advance=)

I do not know where are you now. If you are in Canada, it is easy to be charged duty fees for buying cosmetics from other countries especially when you want to spend lots Very Happy
Meanwhile, Taobao is cheap, it is like eBay. If you want to but cosmetics or make up, I do not think it is very cheap there. It is similar price(except some are not real ones) Very Happy

I wouldn't recommend buying from there. My friend was doing an order with a forwarder and asked me if I wanted anything. I got overly excited when I visited the website.I bought some kerastase shampoo, moisturising masque (it was very expensive here and I thought I was getting a bargain as it was 1/4 of the price on taobao), a benefit eyeliner and mascara.

They were the worst purchases ever!
Kerastase shampoo was fake! I knew straight away as it looked completely different and smelt like cheap dishwashing liquid

The moisturising masque I bought was genuine, however the problem was I thought I was buying a full size tube. Since the description was in chinese I didn't realise I was only buying a sample size Sad It cost me $20 for the sample ~ crazy Shock

The benefit eyeliner was used and the mascara was completely dried out.

I also bought a dress and some jeans. The dress was fake, and obviously sewn to try and imitate the design. It was jcrew, who knew there could be fake j.crew!

Just wanted to share my experience as I regret those purchases. There was nothing I could do, as I couldn't return them and had no one I could complain to to get my money returned.
