Anyone who has been using Retin A for months, and found it really helpful? |

I've been using it for years and am happy using it. Hawkman564, if you do get flakies using Retin-A, I suggest you moisturize your skin with pure Moroccan Argan oil. It works every time with the flakies Good luck! |

If you run a search on the forum for retin-A or tretinoin etc, or google, you'll find oodles of testimonials.
I wouldn't start earlier than late-20's unless there were serious acne or other issues to address though. |

I have used it for 15 years and it is the one skin care product I wouldn't want to be without. |

I'm going on eight years- began in my mid 20s for acne but kept using when acne disappeared. Visually I look 5 years younger than my peers and have no lines or wrinkles anywhere on my face. Starting to lose a bit of volume these last couple years, so while nothing can stop aging, we can sure delay it for a while with the right products, and retin a is one of the only things that are clinically proven to work. |

is 22 too early to begin using retina...as a mostly preventative measure, i have a couple of hairline wrinkles on my forehead, and i do have some black heads, but mainly its just to prevent collagen loss as long as possible |

It has taken me about 6-9 months to notice an improvement but at month 11, I am very happy. |

I think 22 is too early unless you happen to have bad sun damage. I would wait until at least 30... |

Hawkman didn't you say before that a derm had told you to use Retin A? I think if a pro has recommended that to you, its best to follow that advice or ask questions around it. I do think 22 is young to use it, but then I don't know what skin issues etc you are dealing with. |

I remember a derm gave me a prescription for it when I was in my early 20s and I HATED it. I recently turned 29 and have been using it for about 6 months now, and I love, love, love it. Again, I don't know what your skin issues are, but you might try a different product and then give it another shot in 8-10 years (you lucky young thing!) |

Today is 10 years since I tried Retin-A. I began breaking out once I started my junior year of high school it affected my self confidence a lot and I am very much into the makeup and all that but after breaking out I rarely wore any of embarrassment I decided to try Retin-A tretinoin cream, I avoided it at first but I am about two months in and my terrible acne is going away along with the peeling and dryness, new skin is under the shell and I am in love with it!! My doctors say that they dont prescribe Retin-A. So I got it without doc (thanks google).
When I ordered Retin-A from http://www.lookuptothebest.net/go/Retin-A recently they gave me a generic 10% discount code (which was * SKIN10* if anyone's interested). As far as I know this code can be used as many times as you want. Hope this helps! |
