Hello,
I have mild allergies to the sunlight and burn really fast..
I always manage to burn my scalp under neath my hair the worst.
What can I do to make the dry itchness go away? I was thinking about putting some oil in my hair but it doesn't seem to do anything accept gett my hair all oily...so can I put lotions or something on my head?
And is there anything I can do before I go to school everyday like put some product for my scalp on?
Btw, I usually walk with an umberrla but..you know I can't always have it on me.
And one more question...what sunscreens can I put on my hair??? |

Woah, tough one!
I'm no expert on the topic but I'd recommend simple things like not massaging too hard while shampooing - just gently move the shampoo around the roots to loosen dirt & oil. And be careful about what kind of shampoo you use, or use conditioner only.
I use a little diluted apple cider vinegar when my scalp gets itchy - it subsides right away. And lately I've been massaging in coconut oil and it feels so much better - probably as much from the massage.
I don't know why you wouldn't be able to use sunscreen on your scalp.
I got a little squeeze bottle with a cap that's shaped like a small wide tooth comb, with little holes at the ends for applying product. It works great (meant for root touch-ups), and that way you can apply stuff directly to your scalp without getting it in the rest of your hair.
I thought it was from here, but the site isn't active right now http://www.kwikroot.com
I think I got mine on ebay:

I'm sure you'll get some great suggestions from others here - good luck! |

And I was sort of wondering if theirs like a dry sunscreen I could use, but it looks likes summers going to be here soon and I might as well just do what you suggested..good thinking haha.
I will defiantly always keep my umbrella close from now on haha. |
