Posting this as I am sitting on the fence and have been for the last 24H.

I know the anti-aging LS has got great reviews here so I was thinking of buying it due to small wrinkles appearing on my forehead and bad, rough skin texture and a few tiny age spots however I am torn and wondering whether I should order the blue light Lightstim, the anti-acne.

I have not seen any reviews for the anti-acne here, it seems there was a thread but which got no replies.http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=27123
There is very little info on it as per reviews on the web.

Despite being 30 I still suffer from blocked pores and some small mild whiteheads and blackheads in my cheek and chin area. I don't get cystic acne just blocked pores and small blemishes.

I am wondering whether the Anti-aging or the anti-acne is best for me? My acne is not very bad but I would like less clogged pores in my cheeks as well as reduced fine lines and undereye bags.

I noticed the blue acne light also has infra red and red LEDS which as far as I understand from this chart also promote anti-aging properties
http://technorati.com/women/article/the-many-of-colors-of-light/
so perhaps if I got the blue I can also benefit from anti-aging. However the blue does not have the amber (orange) lights which impart glow and radiance.

I read on makeupalley.com a review of light stim where a user stated that despite buying the anti-aging device they found their skin to be clear of blemishes with consecutive uses.

- Can anyone comment?
Has anybody bought the anti-aging device noticed along with smoother skin, less small blemishes, blocked pores, black heads etc? Question

I would like to buy both but cannot afford to so any wise advice would be appreciated.
Embarassed

Thanks Smile Question

Im not sure really if anyone your age uses anti aging light stim. It seems to me that you dont yet require such a treatment, you could give yourself about ten years off from even thinking about it. Wink

Blue light does help get rid of spots.

Using the light stim is a time commitment, as well as a financial outlay.

Perhaps you cant decide which one to buy, because you dont need either of them.

Sorry this might be not the kind of answer you expected.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

VirginiaWhite- I don't have the LightStim (been thinking about it though) but I do have the Sirius Aurora LED light. It comes with three interchangable light plates ... red (wrinkles), green (hyperpigmentation) and blue (acne). Being 52, I use the red one almost exclusively and feel I have had good results with it.

I have no use for the blue light at all. In fact, I've been thinking of passing the Aurora on to my 23 y/o DD so she could use the blue light. The Aurora is also cheaper than the LightStim. I paid $83 for it on Amazon and feel I have gotten my money's worth!

So many LED devices out there now ... it's tough making a decision!
