So I did a 25% TCA Peel and I had frosting so that's good. After 6 days they peeled off and the skin were pink which was also expected. However, most of the pink now turned white ish, like scar tissue or something.
It's already been a month and my skin still has that "White" spot. It is so far away from the rest of my skin color (I am black).
I know this is not normal, but what should I do here? Any help is greatly appreciated. |

I'm sorry to hear you're having a bad experience with TCA. I've given myself some succesful at-home TCA peels, and it sounds like yours progressed normally up to a point.
Did you let the peeling skin flake away on its own or did you pick at it and peel it away yourself? That can lead to some scarring.
I thought that TCA was especially good for black skin in terms of hypopigmentation, but I know some people still end up with an undesired result. My inclination would be to get myself to a dermatologist. Good luck! |
