Help!
I had a zit coming up and I kinda chemically burned the area in an attempt to keep it from turning into a huge underground monster. I am prone to really awful ones that last for months so I freak out when I get these.
Anyway, I put acv on the spot on my face and it turned white like when you do a tca peel. So I had a dark red kinda dry circular patch on my chin.
I applied manuka honey to heal the area but then I stupidly put some very strong athletic adhesive tape over top of it to keep it covered.
When I took the tape of it tore the burned patch of my skin right off!
How can I fix this?
Has anyone had skin tore off before like this?
Will it fix itself with time?
Obviously a tca peel would be a horrible idea now but when it's healed would tca fix this?
Or needling? Please help if anyone knows
Thanks so much |

I've torn skin off my elbows and knuckles plenty of times. I apply some aloe vera gel, cover it up with some Vaseline and give it plenty of time to heal. When the skin is healed I exfoliate gently and massage those spots a little bit extra.
Be kind to your skin. You can get some micropore paper tape when you need to cover something on your skin. It does the job and it comes off easy without taking a piece of flesh with it. |

use an antibiotic ointment, it will heal sooner... i wont do any peels or exfoliation for at least a month, even longer... |

I just had a big "opps" with microdermabrasion and ripped skin. I tried everything in my cabinet but it only irritated my skin even more. Finally had success with Arcona Peptide Complex and La Roche-Posay Rosaliac AR Intense serum. |

neosporin or bacitracin covered with the paper tape mentioned in the above post will take care of it; then be very gentle when cleansing. |
