Well, there is such a thing as muscle atrophy: lack of use leading to wasting away and weakening of muscles. I don't know if it can happen at your age but rather than not moving your forehead muscles, why not learn the Scalp Exercises and make it part of your life? http://www.shapeyourface.com/exercise_five.htm

Tom Hagerty has been doing the exercise for many years and his forehead looks great in his seventies:

I have been doing face exercises for a little over 20 years and never been afraid to move my forehead muscles. Muscle tone has helped prevent me havine furrows. I am in my 40's and this is my forehead:

If you think about it, gravity is pulling on everything. The weaker your muscle, the easier it is for them to respond to gravity's pull. So methinks improving tone is a better way to fight sag and wrinkles than freezing your face.

I'm surprised to hear that.I also wonder how to practice the muscles. But I don't think it's worth to worry about.

Nonie,

Does this new link you posted involve the same type of FE as this other program that you have followed/been affiliated with:??

No it does not. The link to Tom Hagerty's website involves contracting the occipitalis muscle at the back of your head then relaxing them and contracting the frontalis muscles of your forehead then relaxing them. I do Tom's exercise when I don't do CFF and have been doing his scalp exercise since 2005. I gave his link as it is an exercise that is accessible for someone who doesn't have any of the full face workouts in their possession and it is an exercise I continue to do and believe helps with my forehead's tone.

CFF has a forehead workout and so does Eva's program and so when I do CFF I do the whole program including the exercises for the muscles along my forehead. When I did Eva Fraser's program, I also did the whole program including the forehead exercises. I believe each of these programs have contributed to improving the tone in my forehead.

I have posted these photos before but I will post them again as they show how effective face exercises have been in maintaining elasticity so that after I make expressions, my face returns to a smooth relaxed state:

IIRC, you were not keen on face exercises. Are you reconsidering them?

I think I will look into general face exercises.

Is there anything that is good to make your jaw muscles stronger?
Ever since I had a mouth injury a couple years ago, my jaw tires easily from eating and feels somewhat sore.

Also I think face exercises are probably good for you because you exercise the rest of your body to keep it in shape, so why not your face??
