Does anyone else suffer with dark thick lines under the eyes, not circles around the eyes but specifically thick lines that run from the inner corner of eyes down to either side of nose?
I've been told it's a sign you have kidney problems. I've also been told it happens to people with big eyes, which I have.
So can anyone else shed light on why the thick lines and any ways I can rectify them? |

When I first joined EDS, Toby was kind enough to help me post photos when I couldn't so I decided to pay that kindness forward and offered to post the photo krionika wanted to post on her behalf. This is what she wrote:

I am not sure I am seeing lines personally. What I see is tear troughs/hollows below eyes...and a shadow being cast that creates an appearance of dark lines where the troughs end. The hollowness under the eyes also gives the look of dark circles.
Why don't you post your own photos. You can cut off the rest of your face and show just the area in question. I thought you were talking about dark marks like people get on either side of their noses from wearing glasses and pressure from the nose piece:
