If you use microcurrent,

What model do you use and why?

Where did you purchase it and approx price?

What benefits have you noticed?

Thanks BFG

Model: $14 BioWave purchased on eBay - bought after reading some rave reviews for a private label New Spa version on Amazon.

Benefits: It quickly reduces my forehead lines better than my Safetox, and also moves fluid out from under my eyes. I have also seen a reduction in my marionette lines. However it has not done much for my upper eyelids from a lift standpoint, and I think something with probes might be better for that area. It is super easy to use though.

I use the Pico Toner. I bought it directly from NeurotriS. I paid $620 for it including shipping. They also gave me 3 8oz bottles of spray as an EDS bonus.

I jumped on the bandwagon because of all the rave reviews here on EDS and because of Toby's pics. My main concern is lower face sag.

I have been using it since mid April, almost every day for the first 3 months, and have now cut back to a couple of times a week. I could definitely see some noticeable lifting when I first started using it, but for the last couple of months I have not seen much of anything.

I am going to try Bethany's and Sylvia's suggestion and do nothing for the next couple of weeks, and then start again twice a week. Hopefully I will start to see some gains again.

I've been using the eyezone lifting massager by new spa. I paid around $40 on Amazon.

It's been about a month, and while I haven't seen any lift in my eyebrows,I have had nice results. It reduces bags and puffiness and just makes my eye area fresher, younger, and less tired looking. I've also noticed the skin around my nose and eyes, where I pass the wand, has a nice plump texture, with smaller pores.

The last few weeks I've been using it on my nl and cheek area, and have seen my nl lines diminish and my cheeks lift. I should mention that I've just started using the Yamuna face ball so I think my cheek results are from both.

Beautiful Image professional machine. Why- because I wanted a quality machine with the right specs that once done with the initial treatments, you could keep the results with a once a month treatment. (I haven't found this to be true at all for me)

eBay $3650

Short term lifting and sculpting around and under the cheekbones. Short term lessening of my neck rings. Also short term lifting of eyebrow area. These results last a day maybe 2 max.

I have owned this machine for 6 months. I have done 30 treatments. I spent way to much time learning how to use this machine and way to much money on the machine itself for the results I have gotten.

If it took less time and cost a whole lot less money I might feel differently. I do think microcurrent works on the short term but I haven't found the results are cumulative and the investment of time it has taking me to learn all that I needed to know to feel like I was getting the most out of the machine is too much for the short term results I have noticed.

I have several microcurrent devices; two Facemasters (one model is newer) Isomers Nutritone, and Serious Skin Care Egg. My favorite is the Egg.

I've been doing facial exercises since my mid-30s, though in the beginning it was inconsistent. The past 5 years or so, I had been very consistent and tried various programs and stuck with each one for at least a year. I do believe facial exercises work but you have to find the program that best suits your needs.

Last November a friend sent me the SSC Egg as a 50th birthday gift. She had been raving about her unit for months. I decided to stop the program I had been using at the time (CFF) and just use the Egg exclusively to see if I could see a difference.

I have to honestly say, that for me, the results have been as good, if not better, than the manual exercises. I've been using the Egg for approximately 9 months and use it every other night. I actually bought a back up unit so I coud have one for travel.

I don't know if Tua Trend is considered Microcurrent, but that is what I have and I LOVE it.

It was gifted to me by another member who found it was not producing an even result on her face. Well that little device got sent to the right home!

I had visible results within 10 weeks (not bad considering my age, 60) which I have documented with pictures. It also corrected my side to side facial asymmetry somewhat, and lifted my cheeks. My lips have plumped enough that I have not filled them now for a year.

I am now using the Tua in a different way: I can now easily isolate the muscles in my face and have started to combine what used to be a passive contraction with a much deeper voluntary one as the muscle is stimulated. Before Tua I was using Carolyn Cleeves programme, but as my muscles had not achieved much strength it was difficult. With the Tua I can also do Tom Hagerty's somewhat difficult exercise where one half closes one eye while contracting the occipital muscles. I've just started this in the past week and am curious to see if there will be a difference in my rate of progress.

Many have moved on to newer devices, but I think Tua is a gem. It has produced changes on my face that I had not thought possible without surgery or filler. Like JenJ's remarks about getting the exercise programme that fits one's own needs, perhaps I just very luckily got a device that works for my particular problems.

Pico toner - $600.00 plus free spray ----my favorite device: love it. Also have a NuFace (Price ~ can't remember $300+ but nowhere near the Pico in terms of results) - not 'love" but a definite like in terms of it's ability to improve overall appearance and lately a quick product penetration tool.
