Hi Everyone - newbie here but wanted to ask if anyone has any amazing and authentic products for skin lightening. I used to have mega dark skin but have lightened it to such an extent that now I don't wanna stop!! I just want to know if anyone knows any other ways to lighten skin that I can add to my new regime? |

Once you lightened it to the extreme , your likely to need the highest sunblock factor to cover it whilst it remains very light additionally the only way to achieve extreme lightening is throughout monobenzone or hydroquinone which is I am highly against as they have many side effects . I cannot stress enough to stay away from those toxic ingredients , the risks that come up with these are endless!
However I prefer Kojic Acid or Arbutin though they don't produce extreme results , I rather stay away from the side effects and the sun isn't likely to damage the skin in comparison to hydroquinone to monobenzone when there isn't any sunblock on.
May I ask which product you have chosen to use? I just stick with Sure Skin Whitening with BHA/Kojic Acid though the AHA/BHA's I use also provide the results. |

kojic acid has worked well for me in the past when I wanted to lighten up some red marks...I just have to tell you..BE CAREFUL pleeease- if you have dark skin and lighten too much it can actually start turning black and scarred...like charcoal black. I'm not sure how that happens to be honest but it is something I've seen happen to other women and they can't get rid of it. |

I just started using Image Skincare lightening serum, a non-hydroquinone product with:
Rumex
Mulberry
Kojic Acid
Bearberry
Licorice
Arbutin
L-Ascorbic Acid
Magnesium Phosphate
Vitamin C
Emblica
Green Tea
But I'm not trying to "lighten" my skin, just keep the sunspots at bay, so full spectrum sunscreen all the time too! |
