I am on day 10 of the Obagi Nuderm system. The first few days were easy breezy. Day 4 my face became beat red and has pretty much stayed that way. I am peeling around my chin area something fierce. I am not peeling it, just following my regimen and all steps including refissa @ .05 . My chin this morning looks horrible. It is still peeling and I can barely open my mouth because it's so tight. What scared me when I looked in the mirror this morning are all the lines on my chin. It still looks like a snakes skin before it peels, but full of lines..new lines! I never had these before. Is this normal? I know I will go through the ugly duckling stage, but really haven't found too many comments online as far as the ugly duckling symptoms besides redness and peeling.I am not sure if I should apply all steps today?  |

I just wanted to come back on here while my face is drying from the am steps before it's ready for the sunblock. After washing my face w/ Cetaphil(I was told to use this as a similar option to the Obaji cleanser), the "peelies " around my mouth area rinsed off. It looks like my chin area is just extremely dehydrated and lined. I am not using any moisturizer because I have read that it is not recommended in this process. One more thing , I notice that I am not peeling on my cheeks or forehead area too much. I really want to peel on my forhead. Any tips? Should I apply extra exfoderm forte up there? Extra refissa at night? Lastly, I notice that after I wash my face at night and let it breathe for a few hours I peel the most. I really don't peel during the day with everything on my face . Is this common,too? This is my first attempt at this, if you can't tell. I did go to my Derm. ,who told me to use the cleanser,toner, refissa and clarifying vit c.. I wound up ordering the blender, clear and exfoderm forte because I am on a mission to get that perfect skin .  |
