I've tried soo many and they either look too mask like or are too sheer so I need too much concealer.

Skin is very acne prone and I'm looking for a as natural as possible...I'm mid late thirties and have some acne scars to cover...oh and large pores around my nose. Looking for dewy/satin finish.

I've tried lots...here are some....
Physicians formulas (fdt and tm)
BE (all formulas)
Alima
Revlon
Aveda (inner light was my HG)
Vapour
Yes to grapefruit cc
Juice Beauty cc
Boscia bb
It cosmetics
Just to name a few that I've tried lately....

Smashbox CC Cream is a nice everyday thing.

http://www.smashbox.com/product/6032/25337/Face/SMASHBOX-CAMERA-READY-CC-CREAM-BROAD-SPECTRUM-SPF-30-DARK-SPOT-CORRECTING/New/index.tmpl?cm_mmc=google-_-ENG_ENG%7cFace%7cBrand%20Product%7cExact%7cPC-_-Face%7cCC%20Cream%7cX%7cSPP%7cOK-_-smashbox%20cc%20cream&gclid=CNW7kre16rkCFXBo7AodMzwABQ

Like a BB cream but it has skin lightening ingredients in addition to coverage and protection.

Not too matte or dry looking. Id call it a Natural finish, not sparkly or mica-ish like the Tweeny creams so prevalent now. Available at Ulta, Sephora and other specialty shops.

Not masklike but you can build it up to cover special-needs areas and use it as concealer under the eyes w/o it getting caky. Doesnt give me zits either like some silicone-based products do. Colors are nice: I use Light for my NC~20ish tone and it works.

Worth a try! You can take it back to Ulta or Sephora if it doesnt work out!

Jouer tinted moisturizer is great. It uses only physical sunscreens and gives great light coverage.

Jane Iredale is awesome at coverage and since it's a MMU (mineral makeup), it's pretty 'natural' too. I use a primer underneath to help control my oily skin and give a good smooth base for the MMU. JI is sold in a lot of spa locations since it's recommended after laser treatments. It's recommended because it's gentle. It is also very good at coverage. I have bought mine on-line and at a spa. It it good to buy your first one somewhere you can get color matched, though.

And, they offer refills for their pressed powder kits, which can offer a bit of a savings.

For extra coverage of red spots, I will use Mario Badescu's Special Healing Powder (a color corrector ++ for acne prone skin) under the JI.
