Will anything at home rid my of a smokers line? I only have one but it's about a half inch long and I hate it. Is there anything I can do? I really don't want to go the filler route because I will have to keep going back.

An OB/GYN once told me that the ULLs are d/t hormonal depletion, but he was big on HRT. Dunno.

Things that help:
• facial exercise techniques
• derma needling
• topicals
• ultrasonic devices

HTH!

You may want to try laser. Either in office or some members are having good results with home devices as the Aurora or the Tria. I have found my lines look softer with a combo of Tria and Pico toner (microcurrent.) Best, Aprile

My SIL has a few over her top lip and she isn't a smoker but I do notice her "scrunching" her lips up when she isn't thinking about it. I have never said anything to her but it drives me crazy watching as it makes her look older and she is a pretty lady. I wonder if botox might help relax them there and then a laser or peel to soften them. Has anyone had any luck trying botox there?

Those lines are notoriously difficult to deal with. I softened mine considerably although mine were not that bad) through needling and topicals....which leads to collagen growth in the area....

Basically you need to focus on rebuilding collagen in the area...fillers are a short term solution. I have never heard of using Botox in that part of the face.

There are many ways to build collagen, if you search around this forum, you will find most have their own favorite method.

BFG
