I haven't tried the anti-age mode as of yet but I am really loving the cleansing mode! |

Hi Havana, do you have a Clarsonic and if you do how do you think they compare? TIA |

Hi Cookie, I have a Mia but found it didn't do anything for my skin. I could never use it every day and even then, found that it could still irritate.
In contrast, I find the Foreo Luna non-irritating and have even used it twice a day on occasion. I see a more refined complexion with smaller pores. I'm totally digging this thing! |

I have a Blue Luna (for combo skin) and find it incomparably better then Clarisonic (which never had any tangible effect on my skin) at cleaning, and am seeing some anti-aging results - the horizontal wrinkle on the chin is gone, the dreaded "11" are softer; I am not sure if it is due to the anti-aging mode or simply due to the fact that after removing the surface dead skin the products finally getting absorbed and thus are active.
Just wanted to mention that I can see my skin reacts immediately to it - it gets pink from both Cleansing and Anti-aging modes.

Bethany, if you look at the chart
posted earlier below you will see there are a few difference other then the anti-age. The mini only has 2 speeds vs 8 and for whatever reason they say it is not safe to use around the eyes. The battery life is less and it doesn't have intelligent memory function but I think those are probably less important.

Plus a 10 year warranty.
I really like mine. Haven't tried the different speeds, just using the default. Guess I need to look at the book again...lol |

I just placed an order for Pink Luna - Sensitive/Normal skin.
The discount code that was provided on page one did not work for me. I found another discount code that did work - 6ZFXWH. The total cost came to $129.35. |

Have to mention that I got 2 compliments on my skin - the only thing that I do different is Foreo (and that was after a 10 hour work day...).
I ordered another one (Pink for sensitive/normal skin) as Holiday Gift for a relative (hopefully it arrives in time).

Sigma, this is great! I hope it will work for me, too.
I am using Clarisonic and it is good for cleansing. However, it doesn't do anything for my pores. |

Doba,
I hope you will like it too.
I have a blue one; and I had a purging with it in the beginning. I had Clarisonic for years, it never did anything.
Products/Gadgets rarely work for me, so I had very low expectations; also anything that takes a lot of time I end up not using. So far this little thing seems to actually do something.
Hope it stays effective.... |

sigma, how are you using the anti-aging mode? I've yet to try it on mine. TIA! |

Havana,
After doing the cleansing cycle, I just wash the Luna, and my face, and turn anti-aging mode and dip that part under water, and then massage the face holding that strange part of Luna with emphasis on wrinkle-prone areas (crow-feet, forehead, NLs, chin, middle of neck).
Today I tried it right on top on cleanser.
Nothing sophisticated, and it does not take long either.

The Foreo is awfully cute, but it instructs you to cleanse your face *BEFORE* using the thing to ... cleanse your face. I think by virtue of the double-cleansing alone skin would get cleaner, smoother, etc. No? |

Fawnie,
cleaner -yes; smoother - not really.
One cam easily try double cleansing without Foreo.
I am actually too lazy to do double, and usually end up just cleansing it once but with Foreo. Tangible difference for my skin.

Thx Sigma!
I guess my skin would become smoother by virtue of products penetrating better once skin is cleansed thoroughly.
The vibrations are interesting tho and would rev up circulation too. Me likey gadgets! I rmmbr the first time I used a Sonicare toothbrush. And havent used a "regular" toothbrush since. |

Could not agree more about the toothbrush - still love mine.
Hope same stays for Foreo - like it very much so far (using it twice a day, which for me is an unusual persistance). |

I like that you use it on the middle of your neck area, an area that with needling and ultrasound we are rec to avoid. Do you notice anything happening there sigma? You have the sensitive/normal (pink) one, right? |

Nope, I have a Blue one - for combo skin.
Got Pink one for my mom and a few friends (New Yers's gift).
Not sure about changing in the neck area, but tangible difference in face and the horizontal middle of the chin one (practically gone).

What a super gift sigma! PLMK if you see any changes in the neck area, if thats something you're working on. There arent many things that can be used in that area (over the thyroid and the larynx) so Im always looking.
Appreciate your help and have a great New Year!
