Can anyone recommend a good eye cream suitable for day and/or night use that is anti-ageing/wrinke, helps with tiredness and that is suitable for sensitive eyes.
I've tried Elemis, Guinot, Clinique and Clarins so far and every one causes my eyes to sting and water as well as making the area that it is applied to feel heavy and greasy.
Any suggestions gratefully received. |

Hmm tough one, I have this problem too. The Clarins, and Guinot are all fragranced which can cause sensitivity and the Clinique products are quite harsh. Elemis is usually ok for me, how much are you using and are you only putting it around the socket line? The cream can 'creep and seep into your eyes and make them sting/run if you over do it or put it too close ( I've even had this problem with concealers!) Others I've tired are - Dr H Day Contour cream (but can be quite shiny if you don't blot), Currently using a sample of Okusil serum which seems ok so far too. If my eyes feel very sensitive I just use Cammelia oil from Silkia, not sure if thats any help to you!!  |

If the area feels heavy or greasy then perhaps you should opt for an eye gel instead of an eye cream. Your skin may simply not need that much moisture.
I can suggest a few good eye gels but because I have not generally had any problems with any sensitivity it is hard to say that a particular eye gel will for sure be suitable for you. Hopefully you will hear back from people who do have the same issue as you. |
