This. Not only they firm the skin in a positive way but they also clean the lymphs.
I am really pleased especially with the side of the nose exercises.
It makes the area cleaner and more beautiful.
But remember its not the cure.
The real cure is what you eat and breath .
And of course exercise .If you dont use it you will lose it.
All this rotten food stuff from sad past diet must be eliminated completed, fibrous tissues break down, oxygenation come and regeneration will happen.
Also the pinching skin technique really helps the skin.
ANd of course remember to RELAX THE FACE.This is really important.Try to turn up your head a little(like a cool dude) and move the head slightly right and left.Feeling your brainstem.
Let the energy flow to the face.
Face is where all our expression happens. It is the manifestation of our internal world .So please be less tense.
Sorry that this post has no structure.
Oh well its all about cosmic mischievousness. |

SS ,i have looked a bit but thanks for reminding.
Will try them.
If i have a hot shower then i have observed afterwards i cant do the flex effect due to the skin having no oil.If i try it will be kinda painful and maybe damaging.(i assume the book covers it but oh well i jumped straight into the exercises )
So i assume the same will happen with the facial detox. When there is rubbing, the skin must have some oil.
So maybe in the morning its the best time for fe and facial detox.
Facial exercises are fun.And easy.I hope they dont become boring or chore in the long run. |

You can always add an oil - like marula or argan or baobob. There are lots of healthy oil options (coconut oil?). That's what I did last night after all my other junk I do .. added a layer of oil and did facial detox. You are right you definitely need it. This morning I did it with natural face oil. |

I almost hesitate to ask this but where did you read that you need an oil to do the exercises. Unless you are dry skinned (which I am) I have only ever seen them recommend Vit E oil for the massage, which if you are not doing the book you would not be doing anyhow as its not on the dvd (but Deb said recently Claudia is working on something so we will get that eventually).
You say you jumped straight into the exercises – well did you buy the product or are you just following what Deb wrote on the forum?
Facial exercises can be fun but shouldn’t be easy otherwise you may not be working the muscles correctly.

Some programs utilise an oil and moisturiser, but I remember someone not sure if it was Loli (who I think is a Master in her own right and her results are what I am aiming for!) or Cathy or whoever, but said that if you slip and slide and can’t maintain a proper grip then you won’t be having a proper workout which was interesting. I definitely recall reading Deb recommending Vit E oil for the massage but that’s the only thing I can recall at this time.

TM ,fwiw
I have the book and jumped straight to the exercises .They are really easy to do.And i feel the muscles working.
I only dont do the exercises that require to put a finger in mouth .I dont like it!
The dvd also assures one if mistakes are being done.
What forum are you talking about? |

Well then you may not understand the variations bit and there are trainers there who can help with questions.
They have a special forum where if you bought it you can ask them detailed questions about everything:

Having done facial massage and facial exercise for more than a few years I have tried with and without oil.
I often integrate massage and facial exercise in one session so I prefer to use oil. I have no problem gripping the skin. If you use the right oil for your skin, it works. I also like the idea of working a nutritious oil into the skin with the heat of my hands (sort of like what a skilled aesthetician will do during a facial massage). |

I think a lot depends on your skin type too. I have very dry skin, so for me my skin needs something big time. Plus I have used Retin A for many years, and so that may also be part of the issue but nonetheless I like having something on my skin, but not to the point where I slip and slide. I do like the idea though as you do of adding something to my skin and helping it penetrate deeper as a result of the massage etc, and also think its worth noting some systems like Carolyn Cleaves incorporates massage movements into her exercises too which is nice.

I want to add that i shouldnt be excited that soon because i saw some mild results.
At the end of the day its just pulling skin and contracting muscles .Which i believe would be tense in the long run and damaging for the face.
I should see things logically and not be addicted to programs like many EDS members seem to do.
If there is a more smooth variation to FE , i would do it long term.
But i cant imagine doing these exercises for long periods. |
