Regardless of all the advancements in science & cosmetic engineering, many (if not most) of the very best ingredients for skin still come from nature.
Here are a few of them:
Hyaluronic acid
Coenzyme Q10
Vitamin A
Vitamin C
Peptides
Green tea extract
Alpha lipoic acid
...........Among others
As you can see, few man-made ingredients are on this list.
What do you make of this? What does it tell you? |

I use all of the above, in addition to glutathione, niacinamide and panthenol. After much trial and error, and plenty of experiments down the drain, I always come back to the tried and true.
Needless to say, my DIY'er yearly bill is about $250(ish), and that includes plenty of gifts for a significant amount of folks.
What "nature" gave us, needs very little supplementation in MHO. If I had to, I could get along just fine with a few botanicals and carrier oils. |

Please don't be afraid to post your quearies to other DIY members who will be glad to help you (or sell you their wares..lol) Still happy with LED, dermarolling and a DIY antioxidant regime. Peace & Hugs to all.♥ |

That's why I'd hope to learn more about botany. |

I think most of the peptides used in skincare are synthetic, though. |
