Hi,
I am a new member (just recently registered today). After reading through some of the threads, I must say many of you are extremely helpful. There is a ton of useful advice on this site. I'm happy to have found it.
Here is my situation, I'm hoping you can help:

My back has a tendency to break out and I have been using Differin gel to clear up the acne. However, it has left behind some dark spots. Do you think I can use Skinceuticals C+AHA to help clear up the marks? Will it help? I would really like to improve the overall appearance of my back. I know vit c serum is suppose to be used mainly on the face and neck (in the morning), but could I use it on my back right before bedtime? It's not cheap, but I am willing to splurge. The dark marks on my back really bother me.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Katie

I think AHA particularly would be helpful and combined with vit C it might be more effective. The only problem is that it's not exactly going to be easy to target spots on your back with a bit of serum.

Do you exfoliate your back regularly? That should also help. Try a scrub with AHA in it perhaps? There are also body sprays (for hard to reach areas of just for lazy people in general Smile) with AHA in them. MD Formulations makes one. I haven't tried it myself. I thought I saw a review of it here but I can't find it at the moment. Must be hallucinating!

for back breakouts I swear by the MDFormulations body spray (I did a review Mabsy)
As for applying vit-c I've wanted to try the Cellex-vit C lotion but never got round to it. Confused

ooo, I found another body spray by Murad:

Clarifying Body Spray by Murad (4 oz.) 0.5% Salicylic Acid Acne Treatment

Take a break from blemishes. This natural clay-based formula absorbs impurities as it deep cleans and quiets acne breakouts. Sulfur reduces acne's severity as it encourages the skin to clear. Soothing zinc and licorice comfort and calm irritated skin.
Additional features and benefits:

Earth ingredients (kaolin and bentonite clays) absorb impurities

Allantoin, is a skin protectant and powerful healing agent

Lavender, an anti-inflammatory ingredient, helps to control redness and irritation

Grape seed extract, an antioxidant, helps to prevent free radical damage

I bought the body spray for my husband for his back and it is cool and you can spray it with the bottle upside down (for those hard to reach areas!). Now, if I can only get him yo use it. What is it with guys and skincare products
