I have a mass of deep, wide stretch-marks on my stomach from 2 pregnancies.
Whilst im begrudgingly aware that it might be impossible to totally eradicate them, i am attempting to at least soften the appearance a little and maybe even smooth or tighten up the surrounding skin slightly (which currently resembles that of a 105 year old with it's wrinkles and loose sagging since giving birth & losing weight - ugh!).

I have worked up to using a 50% Glycolic Peel, with no irritation and no peeling whatsoever (also no noticeable positive results unfortunately!).
I feel that a stronger peel is needed for the tougher stomach akin and stretchmarks, so my questions are......:-

1) Should i use a stronger Glycolic Peel or a TCA Peel next?

2) If a TCA Peel would be more advisable for stretchmark scars on skin accustomed to 50% Glycolic with no peeling, what strength of TCA would be a good place to start?

I intend to use the strong Glycolic or TCA Peels with a Copper Peptide cream (Skin Biology TriReduction) and regular milder AHAs.

Thanks so much ladies for your help and advice.

To be honest I would not know much about how to use acids. Someone else on the forum may be able to advise you on that.

Can I ask why you have chosen to use TriReduction cream as opposed to other forms of peptides?

I chose TriREduction as it was listed as one of the suggested products for Stretch Marks on the Skin Biology website.

Why? Do you think TriReduction is too weak to battle such deep scars?

I was a size 0/2 when I got pregnant and after having the Jessica Simpson pregnancy of all pregnancies was quite large when it was all said and done. Now that I have lost quite a significant bit of weight over the past year(80lbs) my stomach is saggy and wrinkly, I use the same analogy of it looking like an old persons face on my stomach so that me lol to read.

I am no expert by any means, but I have been seeing significant improvement with my stomach skin and this is what I have been doing:

1. Dermarolling - I take a shower that is as hot as I can stand, and manually exfoliate like a mad person. Then I get out, pat dry, disinfect with 90% alcohol. Then I dermaroll like a mad person. I want there to be dots of blood. I use a 1.5mm roller from owndoc. After that I mix vitamin c with distilled water and apply liberally. It will sting. After about 20 mins, I come back with vitamin e and grapeseed oil. I then wrap my stomach in Saran Wrap, then put a belly binder over top. I do this every 6 weeks.

2. Every morning, except the day I roll, I slather on coq10, grapeseed oil and vitamin e, in that order(I just feel like the grapeseed oil absorbs better if it goes on before vitamin e, and feel like the vitamin e kind of creates a final barrier). Then I wrap Saran and bind. I wear this for as long as I can. I often try to exercise while I have it on.

3. Every night I use a retinyl palmitate lotion with vit e and allantoin.

My stretch marks, and my c section scar are all but invisible. However, I am open to anyone's suggestions and possible improvements on my regimen. I want to start using the vit c e + Ferulic serum in place of my morning routine.
