For the past few days I have been testing a sample of the Dr Organics Snail Gel and I must say I am plesantly surprised by it. It has only been a couple of days and its not long enough to draw any conclusive results but it is doing a nice job of balancing out my skin and helping heal some old spots.
I did read one online study where they used it sucessfully as a burns treatment (although they most likely used a different formulation to the Dr Organics Gel). However I wondered if this might be a useful topical for the skin post peel or laser? It does seem to be quite healing, however I do have some concerns about basically applying slug slime to damaged skin in case of infection or something. I would think the gel is sterile though. Has anyone tried this? I could perhaps to a small test spot somewhere hidden to check how it goes first?
Anyway just wondering what others thought of this! |

I tried snail slime gel (but of a different brand) but I broke out in tiny little spots so it was obviously an irritant for me. I was fascinated enough to at least try it. |

I would think you would want to look at all the other ingredients, not just the slime. All the other ingredients in it would probably be the stuff that angers your skin or helps it. |
