Does anyone practice facial exercises while using a microcurrent device? For instance, if you are using NuFace and holding the device above your eyebrow while looking down for a 10 count hold.

I'm curious if there are specific exercises that one does during their microcurrent routine.

Thanks!!

I also practice facial exercise WHILE using tua trend. It took some time to train myself to isolate the muscle groups, but now that I have I like to add and extra "crunch" with each contraction as I am trying to add muscle mass in most areas. I would say that at this time I use the device almost as more of a counter to help me do a number of reps for a standard hold time. I've also added some of Carolyn Cleaves exercises and Tom Haggarty's winking while squeezing the occipitalus, and neck exercises.

However, I tracked the first 10 weeks with the device and even without extra crunches, the effect was amazing for me. Guess my muscles were not very strong to start with.

How is it working if you do microcurrent and then do facial exercise, not at the same time.
Is that recommended?

Tks

I use the Tua Trend with is an exerciser with microcurrent. It has been beneficial, but I feel in need to do more facial exercises for certain areas.

Thank you for your reply. my EGG came today and anxious to start using it. think maybe do my facial exercises in the morning have facercise and facial magic programs and use the EGG at night.
Want to try non invasive ways before deciding if I want plastic surgery. Don't want to do injection/fillers at all. Really don't want my body absorbing the fillers and not know what it is doing to your body thru your blood, etc.

Hi

I am considering using MC with facial exercise as well. I first started with the Slendertone about a month ago ( not wanting to learn FE with time commitment, etc. ) however as I have seen noticeable improvements with the ST device, I am wondering if I were more knowledgable about FE perhaps I would have faster and better results with ST device.
Also, I am considering some other device as well as FE now

I do Tom Hagerty's neck exercise while doing the jaw firming exercise with the Connie Stevens time machine. I have two. I purchase one on ebay that was very inexpensive. The combination seems to work well for me. I need extra help for my aging neck!
You can find his video on youtube.

Hi Swissmom,

Thank you for that, I will check that this evening, I also need extra for neck ( along with everything else) haha

That is why i am interested in MC/F EX perhaps someone would be able to recommend a face muscle chart that can be purchased or something that could give an edge for the beginner?I have been reading Here for a while and now some suggestions would save my bleeding eyes, lol

Cheers

Hi Leporia. Tom Hagerty's site shape your face, has a face muscle chart that may help you. I'm sure there are a ton online that you can print out.

Hi Swissmom

Tom Hagarty is 81 years old, I watched his youtube vids and he is amazing.
I have tried face exercises a couple times before and didn't really get it easily not sure now either for me, yet I may be more inclined to stick with it using MC

I do carolyn facial fitness 3 times a day and add the neck toner a cheek exercise from facercise on the same 3 days. I am using slendertone face and safetox 2 or 3 times a week as well, and stop tripollar once a week. The combination of all this plus botox and once a year sometimes twice at doctor office radiofrequency is working very well, my face is as firm and without wrinkles as when i was 20. Definetely much better than 5 years ago when i started all of this. I am on my mid thirties now. When i started i was beguinning to see a very slightly cheek drop and now is gone and i do it for maintenance.
The only problem area i have is one eyelid but due a bad experience with laser.

I have a friend doing the occipital exercise from tom hagarty web with amazing results, but for me is very difficult to do, i can manage to move my ears or do the exercise
