In the quest for perfect skin I decided to try the Dr Hauschka line, I liked the organic holistic approach. The problem is that I have massively broken out! I have oily skin in the T-zone area that breaks out occasionally. Now I am using the Cleansing Cream, Clarifying toner, Normalizing day oil, and rejuvenating mask. I don't know if this is normal, if my skin sypmtoms were supressed before and now its coming up,or if I am having an adverse reaction. It's been about 3 weeks. I am going crazy! Please help.

Did you start all of these at the same time or work them into your routine gradually? At which stage did the breakout start?

I did have a little breakout when I started using the Cleansing Cream but it went away pretty quickly. How often are you using the rejuvenating mask? If it were me I think I'd drop off the mask and see if things improve.

I started the clarifying toner first, a little over a month ago and I got samples of the cleansing cream and day oil. I actually started using them about 3 weeks ago (and all at the same time). I use the mask about once a week as a mask, but sometimes as a spot treatment.

Ok. I think I would actually drop back to the toner and the cleansing cream only, skip the oil and the mask for now and see if things settle down. If so then you can start adding. It's possible that your skin reacted to just having a completely new skin regime but it's also possible that the products (or one of them) are not suitable for you.

You might want to consider purchasing the Rythmic Night Conditioner apules. These are supposed to help you transition into the Dr. H routine. I have oily skin and I experience mild breakouts from starting the Dr. H routine (I went 100%) -- but nothing like what you are describing. I never tried the ampules since I seemed OK with the product line. I did use the clay mask 1-2 weeks so maybe that helped too. It's a great product!
