I really like this serum, and my dermatologist is also head over heels about it. But its waaaaay too expensive.
The ingredients for 10% Vit C serum: Propylene Glycol, Water, Propylene Carbonate, Ascorbic Acid, Fragrance.
I didn't find Propylene Carbonate on lotioncrafters and other websites, is there any good alternative to it? Its listed as Film-Forming/Holding Agent. Also, what do you think of replacing Propylene Glycol with Glycerin? They seem to have similar qualities, but not sure if glycerin will have similar nice texture.
Also, could you help me figure the proportions of the ingredients please. Thanks! |
