I just turned 30 and need some help starting on a good, hopefully as natural as possible skincare routine.
When I was in my early 20s I was really into trying all the new things so I did retin-a, dermaroller, creme de la mer, AHAs, SPFs, bunch of other different things - in the end I feel like I did too much and my skin was irritated. So, about 4 years ago I decided to stop everything and do the bare minimum and it helped - my skin feels good, no irritation. But I do have fine lines mostly in the eye area but also I see some faint on the forehead and between my eyebrows or when I smile. My skin is also not as taught/tight and because I am very thin my face does look somewhat gaunt (i guess skinecare cant help with that though ..).
My current routine is: wash with Deitanseki soap (japanese charcoal soap) and follow with olive+coconut oil mixture then wash off; around my eyes at night I put on vaseline and once a week Ill gentle scrub with oil+baking soda mixture. That's it!
I read that incorporating ceramines, niacinamie, hyalornic acid, SPF is a good idea but I have no clue which products have all that! There are so many. I definitely need help there. I'd prefer to keep things simple - maybe a good night cream and then a good SPF in the AM. But welcome to all sorts of advice!
Thank you ladies! |

I used to use a lot of gadget and creams as well. Now I cut back and use a simple moisturizer, a night serum (I like Lancome Genefique) and a vit c booster every now and then.
I also like Exfolikate.
My skin is good with this, I'm not sure when I should start adding stronger things. |
