For the day time I would not use anything else than a good moiturizer and sunscreen.

What is the prescriptive cream you use at night ?

I'm like a lot the Paula's Choice Barely there matte tint SPF 30, the Lise Watier Sun Smart SPF 30 and the Estée Lauder BB Cream SPF 30. I find that the Lise Watier is better when my skin is dryer, Estée Lauder when it is more oily and the Paula's Choice works in all situations.

I still have my Revlon Skinlights powder which I get compliments on when I use it.

Otherwise you can try the glow powders fromwww.buffd.com.

I would say try a vitamin c cream. It will brighten your skin and it does make it luminous.

Applesz,

What is the recipe for your turmeric mask? I'd love to know!

Use product with vitamin C, E and collagen. Vitamin C will help whitens skin and prevent dark spots. Vitamin E will give you the glowing skin that you want. Collagen helps rebuild new skin tissue. It helps in regenerating tissues thus preventing wrinkles. You can find these ingredients in many skin care products.

Skinmedica's TNS Essential Serum was always a HG for me on glow, just a bit pricey since EDS doesn't carry it anymore and takes a good 2-3 months of use to get the full effects.
For just a glow that is temporary, Benefit highbeams and lowbeams are amazing too.

Hi Annie

Funny I used TNS serum years ago and it made my skin really dry, I got no glow from it at all. Could have been the retin a which really dried my skin out, so didnt give it a chance to make my skin glow!!

If you want a glow that comes from within, not from cosmetics, nothing beats phospholipids.

Using a C serum, retinol, gentle exfoliation daily, occasional enzyme mask, and phospholipid-based product really help. Look for lecithin and phosphatidylcholine on the ingredients lists. It has a natural affinity for the skin and helps everything else penetrate, as well as repairing the skin's barrier.

Zizi, I never had an issue with dryness and the TNS but I cannot do retin-A at all. It is really harsh on my skin and causes more broken caps and dry patches than anything. Even once or twice a week use never gets me over the hump. My derm keeps taking me off of it every time I try it again.

Zizi, you ought to try the Keys cosmetic moisturizers. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. These products have OptiFX Adaptive Color Technology. They have generous samples for very little money so you can try before you buy. Excellent product line. www.keys-soap.com Look for shop natural beauty on the home page.

Annie if you have rosacea, its no wonder you cant tol Retin-A. Dr S says its contraindicated for rosaceans. He says that a form of A could be used in small % at first for its anti ageing benefits tho if tolerated. Maybe a diff form of A would work better for you. Something encapsulated so its time-released and milder overall.

There seems to be a lot of buzz about Skinmedica's Lytera.
