Hi all

Having recently discovered Alldaychemist, I now have the opportunity to buy the 0.1% tretinoin gel. I've been using the 0.05% cream for about a year now I guess, alternating between that and 0.025% on the odd day when I have a little peeling. The peeling is only ever very, very mild, so I just use the 0.025% cream for one night.

I wonder if it is worth switching to the 0.1% gel for enhanced results? I'm using tretinoin to delay the aging process a little, fend off lines and minimise pigmentation from sun exposure in my earlier life. You know the sort of thing. Smile Would there be any benefit to switching do you think? My understanding is that the gels release the tretinoin more slowly and therefore it is theoretically possible to use a higher concentration with less potential irritation. On the downside, I've read that the gels can be very, very drying.

Incidentally, I haven't seen the 0.1% cream for sale anywhere. I'm in the UK and it's not available from my GP.

I'd appreciate any thoughts you have on the subject please.

P.S. In case anyone has concerns about my ordering from ADC, I have a separate email address that I can use and a prepaid card rather than my regular card. I know lots of people have ordered from ADC with no problems, but I prefer to take precautions! There have also been reports of problems regarding unauthorised card use and spam emails after shopping with ADC.
