Hi Gypsy,
IMO I think there is a difference between sunblock and sunscreen. Most items labeled as sunscreens generally have sun protection as a secondary usage for their product; moisturizer may be their primary purpose (but then again, this is not always the case). Sunblocks usually have a higher SPF # and will list sun protection as its 1st or 2nd ingredient.
I think the Eucerin Extra Protective Moisture Lotion is a sunblock. It indicates titanium dioxide and zinc oxide as its active ingredients. The combination of the two make for a really good physical sun block product.

Hope this helps,
Katie

I forgot to add that Eucerin spf 30 has low % of active ingredients. So you definitely need to reapply every few hours.

Hi Gypsy,
I would recommend sunblock products by L'Oreal Ombrelle or La Roche Anthelios.
The former is a less expensive option. Regardless of which brand you decide to purchase, I think if you are planning on being in the sun or water for an extended period of time, it's always best to reapply.

Thanks,
Katie
