I'm using Retin-A micro gel and have a lot of peeling skin at least once a week. I also have a lot of oil at times, some acne, and a reddish chin. So, I need makeup to work with these things. Right now I'm using a mineral makeup powder, but it doesn't cover very well. I tried a BB cream and it just colored the peeling skin. Any suggestions? |

I've been trying to find a tinted moisturizer/foundation that looks good on a Retin A-treated skin for ages with no luck! It is hard. Most liquid foundations accentuate the peelies rather than hide them. Powder makeup makes my skin look VERY dry.
I would be happy to hear any recommendations as well! |

Though not a make-up, you can try for the peeling to put a small amount of Coconut oil or Emu oil on the skin right after washing the face while the face is still damp and let it sink in..it helps to calm some of the peeling so you can put sunscreen or cream after. You will have to experiment to see what works for you. |

I haven't had much luck with makeup and peeling skin. When I use Retin-A too often and get a peeling chin, I wait a day, then use a gentle enzyme exfolaint to smooth things up and the next day my makeup works much better. |
