I have a couple spots from driving, on my arms. Is there anything that gets rid of these? I was thinking of using a TCA peel for only a couple minutes, wondering if this worked for anyone. Or laser? I have otherwise pretty even skin so these few spots drive me bonkers...TIA! |

If they are not too big you could try wart remover, it is 17% acid. Put it on the spot and wait for it to fall off, don't pick at it. You can do it a few times over a week or two. I have successfully removed actinic lesions quite near my eye with this method, but it doesn't work well on really big spots.
I have also used ReAura treatments on my forearms and that worked very well, though it did take a few 8 week sessions. But probably not worth the investment for just a couple of spots. |

Thank you so much for the feedback. I wonder if the TCA peel would be similar to the wart remover, in that it's also a strong acid. And when you used this, the skin underneath was not damaged and had normal pigmentation? |

It is 17% acid. The important thing is to wait for it to peel off naturally. The important thing is to wait until the spot drops off naturally in spite of one's inclination to peel it off to see what is happening.
Betcha you could also do a spot treatment with TCA, but I have no experience with that. |

MUAC site sells various types of peels. On the front page explains a little more regarding the differences.
I have not purchased but quite few on the Makeup Alley skin care board have been happy with the results.

I use Dr Scholl's callus & corn remover liquid. It's probably the same as other acids mentioned. |

I use the Exuviance 25% peel.
Essential Day Spa used to sell it, but seems not lately?
It did get rid of some darker marks I had from blemishes.
Also I sometimes use Neostrata vitamin C cream- the one in the capsules. |
