For a good many years i hadnt used any eye cream and i didnt suffer with any problems under my eyes just slightly dark hollow circles (which im mostly with as makeup can help that). Ive been using an eye cream (palmer's line smoothing cream) for a while now and i actually now have wrinkles under my eyes and im only 24! What i think is happening is im unfortunately a side sleeper and its scrunching my face up and the rich cream is making the area around the wrinkle stick to each other which is actually keeping the crease from springing back so making it into a deeper wrinkle.
Does anyone see what i mean? I really want to give my under eyes all the goodness it can get. I have tried some lighter moisturisers under there but all they do is make the skin tight and feels like its pulling my delicate skin under there. And anything slightly rich or tacky just makes the wrinkle spring back less.
Got any advice? |

I also used rosehip oil very lightly around my eyes and it did the same thing! |

Try applying it on damp skin, rather than dry and use less, it helps the product absorb a bit better.
Also make sure you are not applying it to close to the eye lid, you should be tapping it in with your ring finger just around the orbital bone.
Alternatively it may be you just don't need an eye cream yet! (Lucky you!). You might want to try a gel/cream texture instead. |

That is possible i dont need one but im worried about those slight fine lines now lol Trying to look into a good light one dont want anything too rich and heavy. Also going to try train myself to sleep on my back so im not creasing my face up which i think with the richer cream was actually making my lines stick together longer if that makes sense?
I will leave eye creams until i have managed to sleep on my back |
