My experience with organic cosmetics is not too great. I have oily skin and everything I tried organic is making it even oilier . However I try to read the list of ingredients and to stay away from the bad stuff and still looking for the clean organic way Smile Still not sure how can i replace retin-a and vitamin c Wink serums ....

Generally I prefer more natural products - oils are great for me, but my skin is dry and I do look for those that sink in nicely. I'd rather not put excess chemicals on my skin (parabens for example).

Whatever works. I have such picky skin and while I can use oils; there is a lot of products I cannot use.

I also not sure how to duplicate sunscreens and prescription products. I do choose cruelty free whenever possible.

I see I am the 6th person to vote for "whatever works." I guess we're a group of gals who really appreciate results. Laughing

I would love it if everything effective could be organic, natural, and sustainable. But sometimes that just isn't the case. I want the absolute best for my skin, and sometimes that means using synthetics.

Whaterever works.
Although I must say the "chemical"-free stuff fails me, performance wise. From time to time I get this idea that it would be great for me to use simple and natural body products, you know, the rumors that this or that chemical is harmful, even if it's not true, why risk? And the natural stuff smells less obtrusive and nauseating. Problem is, I'm very spoilt, apparently. Because to date, no natural product has performed like I would like them to. Sad I get nice smelling hand creams that dry hands out and shower gels that fail to remove stuff like non-water resistant sunscreen. For face I want at least some performance and fabled plant juice does deliver exactly NOTHING (e.g. REN, Juice). I sometimes envy people who claim they can have great skin with Dr Hauschka and similar brands, but I'm not one of those people and I don't know those people personally either. Wink
Not saying that the high tech stuff is less error/fail prone, most of it is overpriced poo, honestly, but all my HG so far are galaxies away from organic and natural.
