You *can* but that would impair the absorption of it. You would be diluting it. If you want to apply a moisturizer, I would do it afterwards, waiting a hour or so. |

but the tretinoin cream can still be absorbed right? |

Who knows? Why would you waste it by hindering its absorption?
It would depend on what the ingredients of the moisturizer are (whether they form a film that prevents anything from getting past the skin barrier), and what form of tretinoin you use. |

tretinoin alone on my skin is too dry..
so i thought would be better this way |

If you want to decrease the irritation, then it is best to use a moisturizer BEFORE Retin A. It you have already got used to Retin A & just want to add moisture, then use it AFTER Retin A. |
