I used to use C in the past, but stopped. Looking to get back into it. I also read it works best when combined with E.

What do you gals recommend as the best c and e combo? I would prefer combo as it would be easier and more efficient.

I used to put C on at night and then use Retin A or Emu oil. Would the combo of c and e be used the same way? Or is it preferred in the AM?

Thanks!

Best combo would have C,E,and Ferulic acid.
If your not going to make your own, I would suggest this one. It has a good reputation here and on other skin forums.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0036BI56G/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B0036BI56G&linkCode=as2&tag=hotandflacom-20&linkId=KNDB5N3YRQSWWXMW

I would not use a C serum along with Retin-A at nite. Too many acids going on at once. Use the Retin-A at nite only and the Emu oil would be great around 1 hour later. A "C" serum is fine either morning or nite. You could use it at nite if you alternated Retin-A one nite and C serum the next.

A quality "C" serum will stay in the skin for around 72 hours after applied. It can't be washed off. Makes no real difference whether it's used morning or nite. Many use it daily but every other day is fine also.

Thanks.

I checked and that product has benzyl alcohol as an ingredient. Is that okay? I thought that was a no-no in the face...
