I have some electrolysis damage on my upper lip area after having a few botched sessions. It's been over a year since, and the texture of my upper lip is rough and uneven, almost pebbly. I have a scarred pore that kind of wrinkles as well. Though the damage is not severe, and has greatly improved, I'm still bothered by it.
I've done a few different things to help. To name a few, microdermabrasion, tca spot treatments, the usual otc exfoliants (neostrata & retinol), and I have even used Tretinoin Cream 1%. I've tried natural treatments as well as leaving my skin alone all together.
Any of you ladies have any product recommendations or treatments that have helped general roughness of skin/minor scarring?
I thought I would see some good improvement with the tca peel (12.5%), but it's not enough! I've even thought of having dermabrasion done but I think that is a little crazy. |
